Drum Lampshade Making Workshop
We are flexible with days and times ( weekday or Saturday mornings ) and offer 1:1 sessions or can accommodate a maximum of 4 people.
£35.00 per person which includes all lampshade components and instructions. A £15.00 deposit is required at the time of booking. If for any unforeseen reason we have to cancel the session a full refund will be issued.

Workshop DetailsCome and join us for a really enjoyable time and learn how to make a drum lampshade. You will make a 30cm diameter shade, this can be used on a lamp base or as a pendant (ceiling shade).
We demonstrate each step and you can work at your own pace. You will learn tips to enable you to make a professionally finished lampshade. What You Need To Bring

Fabric Notes
Fabric for your lampshades needs to be 120cm x 40cm long.
Cotton and linen fabrics work well, a thicker fabric can be tricky to work with.

Please see below the 3 fabric options –
1. Purchase fabric from Homefront before the day of the workshop, please iron the fabric well at home prior to the workshop.
2. You’re welcome to bring your own fabric (again please iron well at home)
An iron is available at Homefront to iron out any small creases caused by transporting fabric
3. If you haven’t purchased fabric from Homefront in advance of the workshop and don’t have your own fabric, you will be able to pick from 3 prepared pieces of fabric at the beginning of the workshop.
